For years now employers and big corporations have been trying to find a way out of paying retirees for benefits and their pension.
Social Security already is disappearing, with more people withdrawing than are paying in. The retirement age seems to rise every few years also.
All those years you paid into retirement, social security and you will never see a penny of it most likely. Especially after what happened in Stockton, CA.
The City of Stockton filed for Chapter 9 Bankruptcy and a the court will not force Stockton to continue to pay the full medical insurance premiums of city retirees.
Think this just applies to public employees? Sure for now, eventually this will affect all work forces.
Say goodbye to retirement.
